Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and spend some time photographing in our exclusive and private Wildlife Hide.
Whether you are an amateur or professional photographer, a wildlife enthusiast or someone who just wants to relax to the sounds of nature then spending time in our wildlife photography hide is the experience is for you.
We are pleased to launch our NEW Wildlife Photography Hide Experience in partnership with Andy Green, professional photographer from Pond and Perch Wildlife Ltd. Andy will be on hand to share his knowledge and expertise, helping you to capture the perfect wildlife shot.
Your experience includes:
- Welcome Pack on arrival.
- Exclusive early access to the Leeds Castle Estate before visitors arrive.
- Guided tour of the estate for wildlife hot spots.
- Lunch provided – including a drink, sandwich, crisps and cake.
- Private guidance from Andy Green of Pond & Perch – On hand to talk about the wildlife at the hide, wildlife photography in general and the editing process too.
- All day access to our private wildlife hide.
- Potential to see a large variety of wildlife including Kingfishers, Treecreepers, Woodpeckers and many more at the hide and throughout the wider Castle Grounds.
- Access to the Leeds Castle facilities including toilets and food outlets.
Experience information:
- Pre booking is required.
- Please wear suitable outdoor clothing.
- Duration: 8 hours – 8:00am-4:00pm.
- Option to stay later, if preferable.
- Maximum number of 5 people per wildlife hide photography experience.
- Minimum age 12 years, under 16 years must be accompanied by adult.
- Available on specific dates each month.

Your hide photography experience will provide the ideal introduction, and an opportunity to capture on camera some unforgettable shots of the wildlife wonders that share this wonderful space with us. Some are with us all year round, others prefer to visit us for a season at a time.
No two visits are ever the same and you’ll need a degree of patience as you hold steady and focus on capturing those special moments. What you will find quickly is how soon you forget the wider world as you switch off from the everyday. Our wildlife hide is the perfect spot for those not in a hurry and a day you’ll always remember.
