Step back in time and immerse yourself in a delightful medieval weekend during our exciting Queen’s Joust! This year, we’re thrilled to offer an enchanting experience of dining and sleeping in the historic Castle, a medieval feast with live storytelling, and combat of the knight’s, across our weekend of thrilling jousting and lively entertainment.
Midday: Arrive at the Castle and enjoy the public jousting event; witness exhilarating displays of combat and action, elegant and unusual equestrian, and medieval living and feasting.
4:30 PM: If you’re a residential guest, check into your beautiful Castle bedroom, where history meets luxury.
6:30 PM: Join us for reception drinks on the Croquet Lawn, and enjoy captivating medieval entertainment, including Foot Combat featuring a range of historical weaponry with a chance to snap photos with the knights. Our charming host will guide you through the combat as they showcase combat for your entertainment, just like in medieval times. Setting the stage for an unforgettable evening.
7:30 PM: You’ll be called for dinner in the Grand Salon where you’ll savour a sumptuous medieval feast, with a lively storyteller sharing fascinating historical tales from the jousting arena and role play enhancing your medieval adventure.
9:30 PM: After dinner, relax in our drawing rooms with a drink from the bar and enjoy the ambiance of the evening.
11:30 PM: Retire to your luxurious bedrooms, resting like nobility.
The following morning: Gather with fellow guests as you enjoy a delicious breakfast served in the Castle before check out at 10am.
